My dear Wolfenstein clanmate Jor, who has brought the phrase "touch it" to new and astounding heights, recently spent a good portion of time on our TeamSpeak channel banging on his guitar and spewing forth nonstop insults at your humble narrator. Jor is actually coming out with an album soon and I shall have some more mp3's up shortly. But for now this is all I have uploaded. So, in the fine tradition of me finding weirdos that make good music, I bring you JOR INSULTS OTTER: OTTER'S MASHED POTATOES OTTER LIKES THE PENIS OTTER'S MOM RAPES LITTLE BOYS NEW YORK RANGERS STILL SUCK NEWS There's no news really. I just have to point out how much I'm looking forward to watching the Rangers get donkey punched by every team in the league, and especially the Islanders, Devils and Flyers 7 times this season. And without Mark Messier occasionally passing Gordie Howe or some other legend, there are very little redeeming qualities about this team. Thus, these shall be known as the Dark Times. And the Dark Times shall continue until a Messier heir rises from the ashes of this burnt out shell of a hockey team. One cool thing is everyone will be very surprised by Heinrick Lundqvist, newcomer goalie. Everyone except Ranger fans who have been screaming to get him into the States for a few seasons.

VISITING A SAD LITTLE DEAD GIRLOne of the most famous "haunted" sites in the nation is that of the beautiful Craigmiles Mausoleum located in downtown (or what they seem to call downtown) Cleveland Tennessee. The Mausoleum houses the remains of 4 members of the ill-fated Craigmiles family, and is said to "bleed" due to the sadness the family endured. It is said that anyone who visits this site is overtaken with a feeling of complete sadness. Since Cleveland is a town I pass frequently anytime to go from Knoxville to Chattanooga, I figured it was time I checked this out for myself. THE VERY SAD STORY (which bd and his pals are sure to debunk) In August 1864, John and Adelia Craigmiles gave birth to the couple’s first daughter, Nina. John soon became absolutely devoted to the little girl and along with her mother, grandparents and uncles, she became extremely spoiled. Perhaps no one loved the little girl more than her grandfather, Dr. Gideon Blackburn Thompson. He took long walks with her in downtown Cleveland, where she was popular with the shopkeepers and basically the whole town. He often took her on medical calls in his buggy. They would spend entire afternoons enjoying the fresh air and journeying about town. It was during one of these outings that tragedy first came to the Craigmiles family. The day was October 18, 1871 and Nina and her grandfather were off on a short jaunt in the buggy. No one knows how the accident happened, but somehow, Dr. Thompson steered the carriage in front of an oncoming train. He was thrown clear but Nina was instantly killed, and by some accounts, was horribly mangled in the plow which was stuck on front of the train. The whole town was shocked and grieved for the little girl. John, Adelia and the entire family were crushed by the loss and could barely function during the funeral services. When it was over, John began making plans to build a church in memory of his daughter. The Episcopal congregation in town had no permanent meeting place and John felt that a new church in Nina’s honor would be fitting. The ground was broken the following August and Saint Luke’s was completed on October 18, 1874, the third anniversary of Nina’s death. Almost as soon as the brick and stone church was completed, the family began construction on a mausoleum for Nina’s body (where her body had been up to this point is something I would like to know). It was placed at the rear of the church and was built from expensive marble with walls that were four feet thick. A cross tops the marble spire of the tomb and rises more than thirty-seven feet off the ground. Inside of the tomb, six shelves were built into the walls and in the center was a marble sarcophagus, into which Nina’s body was placed. As time passed, the other members of the family followed Nina to the grave, all tragic. The first to die was an infant son who was born to John and Adelia, but only lived a few hours. He was never named but his body lies in peace next to his sister. John Craigmiles died in January 1899, in an odd way. He had been walking downtown one day and slipped and fell on the icy street. The ice apparently cut him, as an infection developed and turned into blood poisoning. He died a short time later. Adelia, was also tragically killed in September 1928. She was crossing Cleveland Street when she was struck and killed by an automobile. She was laid to rest with the other members of her family in the mausoleum. The stories say that the bloody stains first began to appear on the Craigmiles mausoleum after Nina was interred there. With the death of each family member, the stains grew darker and more noticeable. Some of the locals began to believe that the marks were blood, coming from the stone itself, in response to the tragedies suffered by the family. The stones were scrubbed with no effect. Some were replaced to try and erase the stains, but they returned each time. A playground was built right next to the mausoleum (and I'm talking not even 10 feet from it). Its said that children who play here and others have seen a little girl in 1800 style clothing looking lonely, or heard her crying coming from the mausoleum. WHAT I SAW The church and mausoleum are absolutely beautiful. Despite the rumors of a feeling of "complete sadness" I was actually taken by a feeling of great love that this family had for their little girl. I found myself admiring the architecture and designs more than the blood stains. The stains themselves are strange. It seems as though it is the rock itself that is changing color instead of being "stained" by something being on it. Many pieces of the marble used in the structure seem to be growing their own stain. No other marble structure in town seems to be experiencing this phenomenon. PICS ![]() ![]() ![]() These are pics of little Nina's sarcophagus which I think depicts her broken body laying under a sheet, with a tiara and cross laying on top of her. ![]() ![]() Other members of the Craigmiles family ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() These are just general pics of the area, as well as one of Nina's garden. WHO EXACTLY STAYED BEHIND IN NEW ORLEANS??Choice excerpts from a blog of a rescuer sent to this hellhole: 6:20 PM 8/31/2005 Just finished a 22 hour search and rescue in NO. I’ve never seen anything like it. I also have to say there is a prevasive evil down there that I’ve never seen at ANY other disaster site in the U.S. This is my fith major. Today we were twice shot at and once almost robbed by people we saved from there own roof tops. . There is an element of people down there that are committing violent crime for no other reason than they apparantly think they can get away with it. I saw many dead people today and some that were on there way to being that way. If tomorrow is anything like today I’m out. I want to help but not by leaving my children fatherless because some idiot thinks we have enough money on us to make it worth shooting us. ----------- 7:33 AM 9/1/2005 Back for the morning. They won’t allow anymore night trips. Very erie it got really quiet last night. All you could hear was frogs and an occassional gun shot. Way too dangerous. The situation is deteriorating here. They actually had to take police off search and rescue and put them on enforcement. People are actually going to die because some can’t control themselves. Really sad. ------------ 7:44 AM 9/1/2005 My supervisor just told me they had to shut down one of the only functioning hospitals in Gretna I think because the staff was being held up at gunpoint by roving gangs. I hope it isn’t true but I’m fairly sure it is. One of our other teams from last night has not reported in and id concidered missing right now. A few more reports like this and I’ve got to pull the plug and head home. It’s just getting way too dangerous ------------ 4:13 PM 9/1/2005 Latest from here. The Army is fully prepared to send in troops and aid but by law can’t do so until the local governments (Governor) signs a formal request. For whatever reason they have not done so. I have no idea why not. They’re staged and ready and can’t do a god damn thing right now. I’m heading back into the city with an armed escort this time although rescue is rapidly turning to recovery. I’m in hell. People are starving to death and we just can’t get to them. Last night I saw an entire family drowned in there attic. So many people just refused to leave (some couldn’t but the truth of the matter is most of the ones we’ve seen could have) Now they can’t and maybe never will. If you’re ever asked to evacuate. Do it. Meterie is under a mandatory evacuation order(that’s where I am now) It is not flooded here because only the NO side of the Levee broke. The looters are literally lined up waiting to raid this place when the people move out. So the people are digging in and there is still no permission from the local government for Bush to allow the army in. I just can’t understand it at all. My other team from last night is still missing. No idea if they’re OK or not. We’re going back in in about twenty minutes. Pray for us all but this city is dead. I’m going to try not to wind up that way myself. I don’t know if we’ll be allowed back in here or not so this may be my last entry. --------------- 9:27 PM 9/1/2005 Done for now going to getsome sleep before we go back out. Starting to get a litle punchy. You just can’t get to people with all the flooding. Just figuring out where the hell you are is a real pain. The guard is on the ground here trying to restore order. We saw a bunch of reporters really trying to stir up shit. Every question they ask who do you blame? Who’s at fault? Shouldn’t everyone be recieving help by now? The truth of the matter is there is no way a disaster of this magnitude will not result in a lot of deaths and many people not recieving help. So many people had the ability to leave and just didn’t I really can’t understand it. People with kids and elderly. It really eats at me. ------------ 7:46 AM 9/2/2005 Quick update then I’ve got to move. Some maniacs set a chemical plant on fire. Toxic fumews are drifting over the area. Thanks! ------------ 11:32 AM 9/2/2005 Just back for a break re-load and to get my leg stitched up(a little laceration there) Still pretty tough going down here. Tons of federal assistance down here with no local knowlage or local government folks to assist them or tell them where to go. The local link in the chain has failed miserably. We can see the supplies and troops and there is no direction. Also it must be said that N.O.s own people are killing them and it isn't a small group of them. This is the fifth major disaster I've been involved with and the worst group of people I've ever seen. They won't help themselves, they won't help each other. I've never seen anything like it. In the end they've failed themselves. Really tired disgusted and bleeding a little bit at the moment.... ...bye sorry I'm a grouch today but I'm just dissappointed in the very people I'm here to help. ----------- 2:20 PM 9/2/2005 ...Food and help is pouring in now. Our camp came under fire about a half hour ago unttil the guard returned fire and ran these thugs right into the canal. I'm pretty sure they shot them. These are the worst people I've ever seen. They're burning, killing and raping in a disaster zone. I'm sure the rest of the world thinks we're all animals by now. ----------- 2:25 PM 9/3/2005 As far as all the people I hear rushing to place blame here's how I see it.I blame every person who stepped over or didn't help someone else when they were able too and there was a ton of that. I blame those who committed crimes of violence and prevented us from helping. I blame the people who wouldn't even help themselves even though many of them were able to. I blame those who could have easily left the area and didn't even though they had the means. Most common answer given "I just wanted to ride it out". I blame a police force who was indifferent to people in many cases and walk off the job when they were needed most. I blame a police chief who didn't follow standard proceedure and protocol like they do in every other city. Stop the looters on day one, cover the most likely targets like the gun shops. The reason there wasn't wide spead looting in Miami or Charleston is because the police followed basic procedures and got the messege out early that if you loot you'll be caught or shot. I blame a mayor who instead of taking control of the situation and getting out in the streets with his cell phone sat in his office and begged for federal help which almost never arrives in force for four days or so. I blame a mayor who told his police force to allow the looting to continue. People were emboldened when they saw that looting was going to be tolerated. I blame a mayor who and governor who had no real plan for their city and really had the attitude of "the feds will handle it. The feds got there pretty quickly but guess wht? They needed the local support on the ground so they would know where to go and where help was needed. They had no idea because they hadn't beed told that the convention ctr was full of refugees. No mayor, staff, cops or governor to be found. Pretty frigging pathetic. I blame anyone that thinks you can keep water out of a city that's sinking and already 4 ft below sea level indefinetly I also resent the fact that people that live in a serious flood plane are suprised by any of this. Most of all I blame people that were so unwilling to help themselves or eachother in general. Half of them could have walked right out of town. I did and tryed to encourage those that could to do the same. Nope! Someone will come for us.

This week, boy this week. If it wasn't for the stuff that happened this week this week wouldn't have been anything special. And it's only Wednesday Sunday: I flipped out reading a prep book for the A+ test. Monday: I filled out the online applications for both Best Buy's Geek Squad and Circuit City's new in store PC tech...thing without a name. Both things I really don't want to do but need a job. Ever since the phone has been about 3 inches from my fingers. Tuesday: I spent 95% of the day writhing in ungodly pain, chewing Darvocet like candy. Wednesday: Gave final presentation, did fairly decently for about 75%, then got eaten alive. The last 25% probably destroyed us enough for 65% of the whole thing. Terrible, but educational. School = done. Graduation = next week. Feel free to send me money so I can go to the liquor store and buy large bottles of gin to get wasted with in celebration. ![]()
